Matt, I know what you are saying, What I did to make sure the hole lines up with the elevator bellcrank was to build the stab and elevator first, then attach the inner elevator control horn fig 3-8 to the elevator, including the hinges, and mount to the plane. then mark the location of the hole using the tubing on the inner horn for ref. You will have to remove some of the rear spar on the Stab. at the root for clearance. I would like to add that all of the hardware from Replicraft (other than the axle assem.) Fits like a glove!
