(several birds with one posted stone here, in contravention of Ron's very
good suggestion about differentiated posts, last week or so...)

(Agreed. He's the guy for me to deal with.)

(Hah. Good luck. I look forward to burning that bridge when I come to
it.)

That's probably the best move, I think, because of your central position in
the online community. One practical matter that concerns me is the
reproductive quality of the photographs several generations away from the
originals. I was fairly happy with what I sent out, but I can see that they
probably won't do very well, afterward.
I'm open to suggestion on reproduction of my original pages.
However, here's the most exciting news of the week (to me, anyway)...

Negative, mate. Dig this e-mail arrived yesterday:

Dear Mr. Beck:
My name is Pat Story, a Navy Officer with an interest in homebuilt
aviation. I was browsing around the Net the other day and found your
comments regarding "The Fly Baby Bulletin" . Thought you might be
interested in knowing that the Mr. Hayden Ferguson in question is my
beloved father-in-law, who is still doing just fine, thank you. ;) As a
matter of fact, he just got himself another FlyBaby and is in the process
of refurbishing it as we speak. As you can probably tell from the
"Bulletin", I don't think you could find anyone more knowledgeable about
this plane.
His e-mail address is
hayden@dixie-net.com
and I'm sure he'd be more than happy to offer advice or just general B.S.
to a fellow enthusiast.
Pleased to meet you.... going to go back and visit your page a little
more.....
Yours,
Patrick Story

So. There's that. He's still with us.
