I'd like to suggest that folks include their email addresses in their postings to the list. That way, if someone needs to contact you privately, they can easily do so without broadcasting over the entire list. Remember, to, that all messages to the list get archived; later subscribers would probably appreciate it if we didn't fill the archives with "see you next Wednesday" sort of messages. If you include your email address with each posting, any private responder can just cut and paste your name into the To: block. Also note that many mail programs support signature files...these automatically get appended to your messages so that you don't have to retype your name, email address, etc. Along a similar topic, I'd also like to encourage folks to use a descriptive title in their postings.
