Thanks for the reference. Three points I'd like to make about wood
props (probably listed on the Sensenich site somewhere): First, put a
plate on the front of the prop (don't just rely on washer), Second,
retorque the prop regularly, and Third, when you park the airplane,
rotate the prop so it sits horizontal. That way, any water absorbed
doesn't go down into one blade.
I like the look of wood props, but really appreciate the low maintenance
of my metal one....
